Peugeot 3008 wins European Car of the Year 2017

The new Peugeot 3008 SUV has won the European Car of the Year 2017, writes Brian Byrne.

The announcement was made on the even of the Press Days of the Geneva Motor Show.

The prize is awarded by a judging panel comprising 58 journalists from 22 countries. Thirty models have been competing since early 2016.

The car was launched in Ireland last week.
