The Concept A Sedan show car at the Shanghai Auto Show indicates the style and design direction for Mercedes-Benz for its compact vehicles, writes Brian Byrne.
With a very smooth design, the company is suggesting that ‘the time of creases’ is over, and the Concept shows a coupe look for its future premium compact cars.
The company entered the compact segment in 2012, and the move lowered the age profile of Mercedes-Benz buyers as well as bringing the brand into a whole new arena.
A feature of the Concept is headlamps that are coated in UV paint and can glow in different colours for different light mediums.
